December- Camp Conifer

It has become a tradition to head up
to "Camp Conifer" (Grandpa and Ann's house) after Christmas...

The last storm brought a bunch of snow to Nederland....

Lots of snow angels...

The boys had a blast!

But then it was time to warm up...

HOT TUB TIME!!!

"AAAHHHHH....so relaxing"

So nice and warm...

Then the "truth or dare" started...

Brrrr...I guess they took the dare!

Now, Cam's turn...

Uh,oh...Cam got the short end of the stick on this dare!

Snow down the bathing suit!!  Really?? C'mon boys...!

Then it was PJ time...

And relaxing by the fire until dinner...

Lots of hugging time too...

Even mom got a little huggin' from Cammer Jammer...

The boys helped in the kitchen...(always a Camp Conifer tradition)

And we ate and ate..

Then we finished off the night with sparklers!!!

Love how our hoot and howlerin' can be heard for miles in the mountains...

Sorry Nederland neighbors...

Then it was off to bed.... 

And then time to rise and shine...EARLY! It was skiing time!

The dogs greeted the boys first thing in the morning.

Cam loves his Bailey. 

He said "Bailey loves me so much she put her paw on my heart."

There was lots of choppin' to be done for a hearty breakfast fit for skiing...

Then it was time to hit the slopes....

Cam was ready...

The boys were pumped and there was lots of "powda"

Off they went...

And off I went to sip my hot cocoa in the lodge :-)

Cam had a refresher lesson...

Then it was off to skiing with his bros...

Such a great time.  Special memories for sure!!!
