March 2012-sorry picture heavy!!

Greetings! Always lots happening in the Will household...

We will start off with Jackson's new awesome computer!  We just love it when Papa Rob gives us his "old" computers...let's just say it is pretty SWEEEEET! Thank you Papa Rob!

Besides the sweet, new computer, Cammer Jammers is becoming quite the artist these days... and a piece of his artwork was chosen to be displayed at the Curtis Arts and Humanities Center (I will post a picture of his owl when we get it back.)  But, I thought his falcon, holding a cricket, was pretty righteous...and had to share...

I also had to throw in one swim meet pic.  Cam and his swim buddy, Matthew, getting ready to RACE at the Might-Mini meet! I just love those two sweet boys...

Before we knew it...March was flying by and spring break was upon us...aaaaahhhhhh...no homework....aaahhhhh no swim...and the weather was beautiful.
We had not been to the Denver Zoo in ages...so off we went...
And look who was giving us a show...

Mr. Grizzly decided it was too hot to eat his bone and took it in the water.  Look at the size of those claws!! EEEK!

As we were there, it dawned on me, Cam has grown up...he did not ask for a piggy back once! :-) I guess miracles do happen :-)  But we did cool off with a little treat...who needs a spoon when you got a tongue!

The boys also headed up to Camp Conifer (aka Grandpa and Ann's)
for a little fun and skiing..

And there is always a little baking going on...

And as the sign in the boy's bedroom states...
"What happens at Grandpa's...stays at Grandpa's"
UNLESS...the photos spill the beans...:-)

Yes, I FINALLY caved and let them all have their first shooting lesson! (Just a side note it was a BB gun).  When you have a grandpa who hunts, you have to just let some things go :-)  I figured it is better to be educated and learn safely.
Boys will be boys...

Well, the week flew by and we finished off spring break by heading to Colorado Springs.  It was such a nice little get away! We had absolutely PERFECT weather...80's in March? Who would have thought!!

Such great family time...We headed to Garden of the God's...

 What a beautiful place...

Such fun exploring...this formation was our favorite...
The Three Graces
Amazing to think how these rocks were formed...

Then it was back to the resort for some R&R...
truly, is there anything better than Afia (Cam's sleepy bear), a big bed and your DS?
The next day we were off to Cave of the Winds!

The stalactites and stalagmites were so, very cool!

And we were WAY underground...WAY down...

After the cave tour, the boys got harnessed up...

And took the Wind Walker Challenge..
a high ropes course that dangles 100s of feet over the canyon!!
Here is Jax...

It looked pretty scary...that is for me on the ground anyway.
I mean someone had to take pictures :-)

Here is Gav holding on for dear life!

Thank goodness for the harness...but it still made my stomach turn!
This is Jax...DON'T LOOK DOWN!
Phew, I was glad when they were both safe on the ground.
Even though they were safely harnessed...
as a mom, the ground is a good thing!:-)
Then it was off to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo!

We have heard you can feed the giraffes
but had no idea how close you can actually get!

It was AMAZING!! They are so beautiful!

I am not sure who had more fun, me or the boys!
Check out the giraffe's long tongue and Cam sticking out his tongue...hee..hee

Here is a quick video... It was definitely a highlight to the day!
We went back to feed them several times.  It was that fun:-)

In addition to the zoo, these dedicated boys had to take advantage of the resort's lap pool and actually did a workout! Jackson has been an inspiration to us...he has been feeling so much better and has worked so hard to try to get back in shape!

But, there is little time for "work" on vacation! We had one more stop to make...
The Olympic Training Center!
Notice who took FIRST place..

The boys truly think they are going to make it to the Olympics some day...
DREAM big boys...DREAM big!  I love it!
Here are the boys showing their "Olympic Strength"

We saw the swimming pool...and although we did not see Michael Phelps
(much to Cam's disappointment)...this would have to do...

Here is Cam measuring his arm span against Michael Phelp's 6 foot. 7inch span...
Keep growing peanut...

It was great to see all the Olympians highlighted...Jax's fav...Ryan Lochte.

Oh, and be on the look out for the new luge team...

It was a great little vacation...We are just so very blessed!!
