Summer trip to Chicago

Mom loaded up the boys and we headed to Illinois to visit GG and Papa Luka, and the O'connors in August.

We had lots of quality time visiting, horseback riding, fishing and watching the olympics...

We had such a blast. Cameron, of course, made his mark when he had Papa Luka take out his teeth at the dinner table! Oh, great grandparents will really do ANYTHING for their grandchildren! Needless to say, all the boys were quite impressed...Jackson and Gavin both said "Cooool!" with HUGE smiles on their faces. Papa could not stop laughing. It was very funny!

The boys were able to play some mean games of UNO with GG. At ten cents a game, it was pretty intense at times!

I hope we did not overstay our welcome with Kimbo, Frank, Kellen, Evan and Miss Kate. The boys just loved hanging out with the older cousins. When the boys decided to come up for air from playing video games with Evan, they went out to fish in the pond with Frank, went riding at the barn with Kate, or went swimming with Kellen. It got me thinking, maybe I just need to hire a full team of teenagers to help me :-)

We had an amazing time. We miss Chicago...and we miss Boom and Murph...next trip we are stealing them to come home with us. We will have to leave "Taco" behind...I am too allergic :-)

Thank you Kimbo and Frank, and GG and Papa for having us! We are so thankful we were able to come and spend time with all of you...
