July was a big month. Miss Sadie, and Australian Cattle Dog melted our hearts, so we added another dog to the crew. Sadie was rescued by New Hope Dog Rescue of Colorado. Her owner packed up and left her with no food or water.
She is such a sweet dog. She is so loyal and kind to everyone--EVEN CAMERON! She tolerates so much from him and she gives nothing but kisses back.
She is certainly my dog and does not leave my side. EVER! She is my little velcro dog. She is always with me and I love it!
As I tuck the boys in every night, the boys say "Kiss, kiss Sadie" and she runs over and kisses them good night! Just one of her many tricks. She is so smart.
Shortly after we got her, we noticed her limping. Turns out she had a serious knee condition. New Hope Cattle Dog Rescue paid for her surgery. They have been wonderful to work with. Thanks to them, she is good as new. The last picture is Lucy keeping a watchful eye over Sadie's hurt leg.
